Rachel

Well, as a quick introduction, I am an accountant and pianist by training (although on a lesser scale than Emily).  Lately, I’ve been doing more accounting than piano playing, but I hope to pick up the piano soon again.

I received my undergraduate degree and master’s degree in accounting from The University of Alabama. Since graduating, I have worked in the private sector as a CPA and am having a fantastic time marketing the clinical skincare line founded by the Stanford-trained dermatologists, Drs. Rodan and Fields, who created ProActiv. After brief stints in Birmingham, Alabama and Memphis, Tennessee, I realized there really is “no place like home” and returned to the Montgomery, Alabama area to reside.

I married Jordan Daniels in July 2011 and was so grateful for the vision Emily had to write our thank you note books that we finalized right before I married. Without them, I would have been lost trying to keep track of my gifts and write thank you notes for them all!  These books helped me write my thank you notes quickly and efficiently while giving me more time to devote to wedding planning and life after my wedding.

Although I never envisioned myself as an author, I’m enjoying exploring the world of blogging and self-publishing with my sister Emily.  We have met so many interesting people and learned so much through the process.   Needless to say, Emily and I are never bored. One of my favorite quotes that seems to exemplify our lives right now is the following from Dr. Seuss:

“How did it get so late so soon? It’s night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?”

Thanks for stopping by and please stay in touch with us!  We love hearing from our readers!

Fondly,
